Double Blog!

The first part of today's blog I would like to wish a BIG Happy Birthday to my sweet husband, Lance. I am so excited to get to celebrate and spend another year with this special guy. Here's to a great birthday and many, many more to come! :)

Next, it's time for...

This week I am definitely loving Game of Thrones.  Lance made me start watching it with him, and let's be honest- this is not a show I would typically watch, but I was hooked right away! We are catching up on the first 2 seasons before we start on season 3 which recently began.  We are now on Season 1, Episode 8 and try to watch one episode a night.  This can be very hard since EVERY episode ends on a huge cliff hanger, but since we do have jobs, we can't be up all night! lol I am going to be a bit sad when we finally catch up and have to settle for one episode a week, and then wait almost a whole year in between seasons, yikes! Luckily True Blood starts right after, and I am hooked on that as well. If you were considering starting this series, I highly recommend it! Be prepared to be confused and grossed out 75% of the time, but totally worth it! :)

Next, I am loving this lovely SPRING weather that is finally here! With that being said, I am NOT loving the massive amount of pollen everywhere. My car is no longer black, but a nice dusty shade of yellow. Ick. Time to get that nasal rinse kit back out to keep these sinuses happy.

Lastly- I am very much loving that I will be going home 2 weeks from tomorrow!! WOOHOO! I am so excited to see all my friends and family, and for all the fun events planned for our mini trip home. :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday (4/3)

This week I am loving that April is such a fun and celebratory month! 

First off is one of my best friend's birthday (which happens to be in 2 days!). April 5 starts off the birthdays this month with Kristen's big 2-6!

Next, my sweet husband will be turning 34 next Wednesday, April 10. I love getting to celebrate another year with this awesome fella!

After that, we have my mom's birthday on April 25.  I am so glad I will be home this year to celebrate with her! :)

..and 2 days later on April 27, one of my other best friends, Lauren, will be getting MARRIED!!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday (3/27)

I have seen this on a few blogs and thought I would start doing a little 'What I'm Loving Wednesday' for my blog! :)

First off, there are 2 songs I am really loving right now.  Of course I am loving Justin's whole CD, ha, but I really love his new single, Mirrors.  It is probably one of my favorites on the CD.  If you haven't heard it.. take a listen!  I am also loving Pink's new song, Just Give Me a Reason.  I am an even bigger fan now after seeing her in concert, and I really love the sound of this song. She was AMAZING in concert, and luckily I got to hear this one live.

Another thing I am loving this week is... The Voice!  I have always been an American Idol girl, but I am not liking these new judges at all.  I also feel like this season they let people through just for TV and aren't really interested in the best singer.  I HATE how the judges don't seem to care about helping the singers anymore and are just there to be on TV and get their paycheck.  I have heard a lot of buzz about The Voice so since it started this week, I thought I would jump right in.. well I am LOVING it.  Can't wait to see how the whole season works and plays out!


Of course I am loving that it is Wednesday, which means we are halfway to another weekend...

And last, but certainly not least.. I am loving my amazing husband who as of today, have had 5 wonderful months of marriage with!

Hello, Friday!

TGIF!

Whew, it seems lately I have been looking forward to the weekends more and more! I hate to wish away time, but I sure do enjoy my time off. The next few months are going to be busy, busy and I am SO excited. This weekend we don't have much planned, hopefully getting to go visit our friends' sweet little twins that were born on St. Patrick's Day and maybe squeeze in some painting.  Next weekend we are going to Lance's hometown to visit some family, the next weekend is Lance's birthday get together, then we will have a free space before heading back home to MS April 25th! After that we will be going to VA to see his mom and that side of the family Memorial weekend, and then the next weekend leave for FL to meet my family for a week.. sheesh! It sure does get busy with both of our families spread out all over the place!!  I love having countdowns and things to look forward to, so bring it on! :)

The 20/20 Experience

I. love. it. 

Yes, March 19 finally arrived and JT's MUCH anticipated album was finally released.  I was lucky enough to win this amazing album on the radio the day before.  I didn't have to do much, just be caller 10, but still.. I WON! ha  I got my email yesterday for the digital download and was so excited to get home and listen.  Of course when I logged on my laptop, I was informed of all the updates iTunes and my iPhone needed.. so about 2 HOURS later, I finally had the album downloaded and uploaded.  Since I have a nice 40-45 minute work commute, I used this morning to be my review time.  I didn't have time to listen to every song all the way through since most are close to 10 minutes long, but I did get a nice sample of each.  I must say, job well done Justin!

He definitely has an amazing PR/marketing/etc group, because Mr. Justin Timberlake is everywhere right now.. commercials, radio, TV, you name it.  And yes, I am LOVING it all. I think Lance is about Justin'ed out.. but that's ok! :)  I would highly recommend this CD and I can not wait for the second half to come out later this year!
